Essex’s website lacked the modern look that they were striving for and was ineffective as a lead generation tool. Additionally, they wanted a visual style that reflected their recent focus on fortifying their ranks with young talent. To ensure customers would come to their site instead of that of the competition, they sought to present relevant and current information. They wanted to integrate a newsletter service with the site to facilitate communication with existing and potential clients. Finally, they wanted to ensure information requests were properly routed to the appropriate members of their staff.
In order to ensure the site was easy to update and maintain, we built a custom-tailored Content Management System from the ground up. This system gave Essex control over nearly all site content and configurations in a streamlined and intuitive manner. In order to ensure they distinguished themselves from the competition, we added a component that displays financial rates that update daily with information from a reputable data source. Since Essex had an existing Dotmailer account they used for Customer Relationship Management, we added a newsletter subscription form to the site that pushes data to their Dotmailer account. To ensure site information requests reached the appropriate targets, we gave Essex the ability to configure the target of email notifications based on information point for each form submission.
